Disturbed To Rock 'kimmel', bring On 'the Night'
By: Don Kaye

Disturbed will be the featured musical act on the Wednesday, January 28th, edition of ABC-TV's Jimmy Kimmel Live, according to Blabbermouth.net. It is not known what the band will perform, but one song is likely to be "The Night," the next single from the latest Disturbed album, Indestructible. Singer David Draiman told us a little about the track: "'The Night'is certainly going to be the next single that is released. We have very high hopes for it. The song is meant to be depicting the night as an entity that takes over your being and changes you, and in a way sets you free."

"The Night" will follow Indestructible's two previous Number One rock singles, "Inside The Fire" and the title track.

Disturbed is shooting a video for "The Night" which Draiman described to us as "very monster movie-esque."

"Inside The Fire" is nominated for a Grammy Award for "Best Hard Rock Performance," Disturbed's first-ever nomination.

Indestructible debuted at Number One on the Billboard album chart in June, the third straight album from Disturbed to do so. The disc is also close to becoming Disturbed's fourth consecutive platinum record.

The group will begin a winter tour on January 16th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that will serve as a warm-up for the fourth edition of its Music As A Weapon trek, which will kick off in March.
