LORDI GET DISTURBED FOR RHYTHM

Lordi say they were influenced rhythmically by David Draiman and the rest of Disturbed for Deadache.



Lordi have released Deadache and are bringing their costumed madness to venues on tour across America. The Finnish band have been around quite a while with most of their popularity in Europe.

Mr. Amen and Kita say the band's sound has evolved and they admit that the album is rhythmically influenced by Disturbed.

[Kita] "Maybe we had just a little because for example me and Amen, the band called Disturbed, their last album, not this new one, but their previous album, we loved those rhythms they had so we tried to put a little more edge, a little more sharp on some songs like... A song is a song, if you're playing for example an acoustic guitar it's the same song, but arrangement-wise we tried to put... We call it, 'Let's put a little Disturbed in this.'" [Amen] "'Dr. Sin Is In,' that's a name of a song, and there are great rhythm parts that we haven't used before." [Kita] "So, we Disturbed that one."

The first single off Deadache is the tongue-in-cheek "Bite It Like a Bulldog."
