SAN BERNARDINO - Slipknot and Disturbed entertained thousands of their fans at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival here on Sunday.
Disturbed seemed to get a louder reception for their set, which ended with "Down With The Sickness," than did Slipknot, who ended with "People = S***."

Fans seemed to dig most of the bands but it was noticeable that fans hit the exits when Underoath took the Hot Topic stage, and few gathered at the Main Stage during Mastodon's late afternoon set.

That was about the same time that Five Finger Death Punch were on the Jagermeister Stage, entertaining a good crowd. The band's closer, "The Bleeding," had nearly everyone singing along.

Disturbed was an audience favorite. Lead singer David Draiman made large gestures with his arms and continually called for fans to "show me the horns." They were happy to oblige.

Slipknot, while good, couldn't match that energy, though they came close with "The Heretic Anthem."
